About Brylee
I am an experienced vocal tutor with 7 years of teaching across a range of styles and levels. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance, specializing in Lieder and Art Song. My classical training supports a strong technical foundation for all singers. I focus on jazz and blues improvisation, helping students develop creative freedom.
In lessons, we explore scat singing, melodic phrasing, and harmonic awareness. I combine ear training with scale and chord theory to build a complete skill set. Students learn how to apply theory in a musical and intuitive way. Every session is tailored to the individual’s needs.
I enjoy working with both beginners and advanced singers. Some students are just starting, while others are refining performance skills. I meet each student where they are. My teaching environment is supportive and encouraging.
I believe every singer has a unique voice worth developing. My goal is to help students build confidence, technique, and artistic identity.

My teaching approach blends technique with real-world performance skills. I focus on helping singers build a strong and healthy voice. Lessons include breath control, tone development, and vocal flexibility. I also include ear training and simple theory work.
Audition preparation is part of every stage of learning. Students learn how to choose suitable songs and prepare them properly. We work on delivery, expression, and confidence. I guide them to present their best self.
Performance anxiety is handled in a practical way. I teach students how to stay focused and calm. Stage presence is developed through repetition and feedback. Small improvements create strong results.
I work closely with adult beginners and advanced teens. They are supported but also challenged. I encourage them to step outside their comfort zone. Confidence grows through experience.
The goal is to prepare singers for real opportunities. They learn how to perform with confidence and clarity.
