About Elowen
I am a passionate singing tutor with 6 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in music. My journey in vocal performance began early, and over time, it has transformed into a deep love for teaching others how to find and refine their voice. I believe that everyone has a unique sound worth discovering, and my goal is to guide students in building both skill and confidence. My teaching philosophy centres on creating a comfortable, encouraging environment where students feel safe to experiment and grow. I focus on developing strong foundational techniques like breath support, pitch accuracy, and vocal control, while also emphasising musical expression and personal style. Every voice is different, and I tailor my approach to suit each student’s strengths and aspirations. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with a wide range of students—from complete beginners to advanced singers preparing for performances and auditions. This range has helped me understand how to adapt lessons to different goals and learning styles. I enjoy seeing students gain confidence, master challenging pieces, and experience the joy of vocal improvement. Outside of teaching, I continue to perform and study a variety of vocal genres, from classical to contemporary. Staying connected to the art of singing in practice helps me bring fresh, real-world experience into every lesson, and inspires me to keep growing alongside my students.

Exercises are carefully chosen to match your voice type and musical interests, making each lesson practical and enjoyable. Performance skills are also a key part of the journey. As you grow more confident in your technique, we'll incorporate interpretation and stage presence, preparing you for auditions, concerts, or simply singing with more freedom and expression. Lessons can also include work on song repertoire, diction, and emotional delivery, depending on your needs. With 6 years of experience and a background in music education, I aim to provide students with tools that not only improve their singing but also help them enjoy the process. Whether you're singing for fun or aiming for a professional path, lessons are always tailored to support your voice, pace, and goals.
