About Nolan
With 6 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Voice Emphasis, I am dedicated to guiding singers toward technical excellence and artistic growth. My teaching is rooted in building strong vocal foundations, especially for students preparing for vocal exams, diplomas, and conservatory auditions. Whether focusing on Classical, Opera, Art Song, or Contemporary Vocal styles, each lesson is carefully structured to meet the student’s unique goals. I emphasize tone placement and resonance control to help students develop a balanced, healthy sound. Through targeted vocal exercises, we strengthen breath support, smooth out register transitions, and build consistent projection. IPA diction training is an essential part of my method, ensuring clarity and precision across languages and styles. We also work closely on phrasing, shaping each musical line with intention and expression. My approach balances technical skill with emotional connection, allowing students to fully embody the music they perform. I understand that each singer progresses at their own pace, and I tailor lessons to provide both challenge and support. With discipline, dedication, and a passion for the art, my students develop not only their voices but also their confidence as performers. I am committed to helping every student achieve technical growth, musical depth, and true artistic discipline.
