My name is Jessica and I am from Glasgow. I am a professional and experienced ESOL tutor who can help you to improve your general English skills, and also help with exam preparation (SQA levels, IELTS, TOEIC). I am a graduate from the University of Glasgow and am CELTA certified.

I am an experienced ESOL teacher who has been teaching for over 12 years. I have taught English both in Glasgow and abroad (Spain, France and Vietnam) to students ranging from Beginner to Advanced level. As a previous IELTS speaking examiner I am able to effectively help students to prepare for this exam.
All my lessons take a student-centred approach, maximising the time each student has to practise and develop their language skills during the lesson. I like to create a positive and warm atmosphere in class and choose engaging and interesting material. I will listen to your specific language goals and will develop lessons which will allow you to achieve them.

I signed up my French nephew for lessons with Jessica to help him prepare for an IELTS exam to study in the UK. Jessica was an excellent tutor, she was very patient and offered interesting lessons. She helped my nephew prepare so well for the exams, and in the end he achieved a 7 which is what he needed to get on to his course. I can highly recommend Jessica, especially for IELTS exam preparation.
Jessica really helped me because she quickly identified where I needed to improve my English with quick results. She also prepared for each classes specific exercises, vocabulary and pronunciations practice that permit to have high quality personalized classes.
