About Savannah
As a Piano tutor with 12 years of professional and teaching experience, I am deeply committed to inspiring young musicians. I teach school and college students and guide them through every stage of their musical journey. From teaching basic note reading to preparing students for public performances, I focus on steady and meaningful progress. One of the greatest achievements in my career has been witnessing my students perform confidently and proudly showcase their hard work.
My teaching style is structured and goal-oriented, emphasising strong fundamentals such as scales, rhythm timing, hand coordination, and understanding music theory. I believe that mastering the basics creates long-term success. I also encourage emotional connection with music so that students learn to express themselves beautifully.
Every student learns at a different pace, so I personalise lessons to meet individual needs. I create a positive atmosphere where mistakes are seen as learning opportunities. Music education builds discipline, patience, and creativity, and I feel proud to contribute to my students’ overall development. Teaching Piano is my passion, and I remain dedicated to shaping confident and skilled musicians.

My piano teaching methodology is based on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to help students build both skill and passion for music. I begin by understanding each student’s goals and learning pace, then design a structured lesson plan that includes technical exercises, theory learning, and practical song application.
I focus on proper posture, finger positioning, scale practice, chord transitions, and rhythm accuracy to create a strong foundation. Motivation plays a major role in my classes, and I regularly encourage students by setting realistic goals and recognising their improvements.
Communication is clear and supportive, ensuring students understand note reading, tempo, articulation, and expressive playing techniques in simple language. Integrity guides my professionalism, punctuality, and honest progress tracking. Creativity is encouraged through improvisation, simple composition exercises, and exploring different genres of music. Besides piano, I also teach music theory, harmony basics, sight reading, ear training, and keyboard skills to ensure complete musical development.
