About John
I am a dedicated singing tutor with 7 years of teaching and professional experience working with school and college students. Teaching music gives me the opportunity to share my passion for singing while helping students discover their potential.
Throughout my teaching journey, I have worked with many learners who started with little confidence in their voice. Through patient guidance and structured lessons, they gradually improved their vocal skills and developed the courage to perform in front of an audience. Seeing my students succeed and enjoy music is one of the most fulfilling parts of my career.
My teaching approach focuses on building strong vocal fundamentals such as breathing techniques, pitch control, rhythm training, and vocal expression. These skills help students become more confident and comfortable singers. I also encourage creativity and personal expression so students can develop their own musical style.

My approach to teaching singing is based on flexibility, creativity, understanding, and structured time management. I believe that learning to sing should be an enjoyable and motivating experience for every student.
I start by assessing the student’s voice, musical interests, and goals to create lessons that match their level and needs. I focus on teaching breathing techniques, vocal exercises, pitch control, tone clarity, and song interpretation.
Creativity is emphasised because singing is a form of artistic expression, and I encourage students to explore different emotions, musical styles, and genres. Understanding the student’s pace and challenges allows me to provide guidance that is patient, supportive, and effective.
Time management ensures that each lesson is balanced, covering warm-ups, technical exercises, and song practice. In addition to singing, I also teach rhythm training, music fundamentals, and performance skills to develop well-rounded musicians.
