About Christian
I have a Bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering and a minor in Mathematics from Iowa State University, where I worked for two years as a Calculus II tutor with the university's tutoring center. After college I worked for three years as a stress analyst for Spirit Aerosystems in Wichita, KS - I left that position in January 2024 and now follow my dream as a full-time magician! I want to keep tutoring calculus because I'm passionate about mathematics and STEM, and I don't want to leave it behind. Explaining difficult concepts to students in a one-on-one setting has always been my greatest joy.

My typical lesson plan involves working a problem, together, to find problem areas - and then working carefully on those problem spots with specially-designed problems. My technical communication skills are head and shoulders above the competition - because I know how to communicate to people who don't understand the concepts and I infuse charm, fun, and friendliness into my sessions.

Christian is a great tutor! He explained things so that I could understand them. He met me where my skills were and didn't talk over my head. Some math people don't know what it's like to struggle with math, those people aren't helpful to me. Christian is very knowledgeable, and approachable and I enjoyed our sessions. Couldn't have done Calc without him. I highly recommend!
