About Nina
I am currently nearing the end of my PhD research which explores the role competitive education practices, informed by neoliberal policy, plays in the identity formation of young people. I have been teaching in cultural and social psychology as well as research methods for 7 years. During that period I have been acknowledged as among the top 10% of teaching staff at my university. I attribute my success to my genuine passion for engaging with students. There is nothing I enjoy more than connecting with students and supporting them in their learning journey.

I am a firm believer that all students, regardless of their background and previous achievements, have the right to feel engaged and supported in their learning. As a tutor, I strive to empower students with the sense that learning is always possible. As a researcher focused on critical social psychology, my lessons are focused on encouraging students to think outside the box and challenge common stereotypes about what it means to be a person in a given context.
