About Lauren
I am a friendly and responsible social sciences graduate (bachelors in politics and psychology) who is looking to gain more education experience before applying for a postgraduate in teaching. Currently working as a duty manager in a busy city centre hotel so I am absolutely a people person and I’m looking to help students get through their coursework for the best results in these uncertain times.

My approach to teaching is a blend of demonstration and activity based learning. I find discussing a topic in detail, giving examples that relate to students experience then giving a student an activity that allows them the opportunity to apply their knowledge while being on hand to help problem solve. I find this approach makes students feel like they are not being spoken down to or lectured and when they are given examples that apply to them they are better able to recall the knowledge.
