Hi! My name is Mia Corvino and I am in my last semester of college at the University of Colorado, Boulder. I have a Major in Education and a Minor in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences. During my time in college I have had many field experiences that have influenced the career path I want to go down. After student teaching at a title 1 elementary school for a semester I realized that I don't want to be a general education teacher and rather be a specialist. Over the summer I interned for a school in Los Angeles called The Park Century School (PCS). At PCS this summer, I was an SLPA in their summer school program, helping carryout a curriculum called "Sounds Fun!". After this summer I want to continue working as a specialist to some extent while I complete my degree. I can really teach any topic for elementary ages.
