About Sourajit
Hey! If you are reading this then I am sure you like music. You probably are trying to learn an instrument, or a song , or maybe a melody. But you chose to learn this art so that you can express that likeness and probably try to enhance it. Same thing for me bud! I play piano commercially often, for composing or with live bands or music production. But it all started from that same love to learn and express music.
I possess a Grade 5 Piano certificate from Trinity College London. Also, I have a PG Diploma in Music Technology & Bachelors in Audio Engineering and Music Production. I compose music for feature films, web series, advertisements.
We are gonna need time, patience and lots of practice to come to a level where our sense of understanding music and playing skills are accurately alligned. But I assure you will reach that pinnacle.

Starting with a person, adult or kid, is always a new dimension. Everyone isn’t the same. So my approach to teaching is variable to different students.
Classes will consist of the following :-
1. PIANO EXCERCISES to increase finger flexibility, dexterity as well as dual-hand balance.
2. WESTERN MUSIC THEORY that consists of scales, chords, harmony, stave language, dynamic & articulation markings, time signatures, tempo, sight reading and more.
3. PRACTICAL APPROACH to understanding music theory.
4. Learning to play OLD AND NEW SONGS from different genres of music.
5. TIPS AND TRICKS for playing piano as an ACCOMPANIMENT with a band or a musicians group.
6. Learning to COMPOSE your own melody or songs.
7. MUSIC APPRECIATION by listening to different types of music.
Practice is paramount in my classes. Whatever I teach, students need to practice them diligently for achieving results.
