About Jack
I have been tutoring for a few months, guiding students through the A-Level core and further mathematics curriculum with great results!
My students say they enjoy the lessons and their understanding of the topics after each lesson is much richer.
Every day I work I'm applying mathematics and statistics to the real world and have a successful career in Data Science, currently in Southampton and previously as a Data Scientist in a Management Consultancy in London.
I'm currently quite flexible with timings for lessons and am available on weekdays and weekends from 4PM onwards.
Due to Covid-19 I am tutoring via Zoom and I'm happy to work with you to make any extenuating arrangements necessary.

I first help you understand on a deep conceptual level the underlying concepts.
I then focus on building on top of these concepts, step by step to the point where you are comfortable answering even the most difficult of exam questions.

Jack is good tutor. He is very thorough and tailors sessions to the way I think and learn. learnt a lot from his clear explanations with different ways of thinking. He’s engaging and very motivating. He’s extremely knowledgeable And is able to pass that down in ways I can understand.
Jack helped me on many occasions with 3rd Year Mathematics BSc University material.
He has a very broad range of knowledge, and especially good understanding of scientific programming.
His understanding of mathematical proof techniques was especially helpful to me, since that's what I personally struggle with the most.View more recommendations
