About Mara
I have 8 years of teaching experience and hold a PhD in Hispanic Language Education. Throughout my career, I have helped learners build strong communication skills while gaining a deeper appreciation for Spanish-speaking cultures. Teaching language allows me to connect people with new opportunities and experiences.
My teaching philosophy focuses on interaction, consistency, and real-world communication. I encourage students to practice actively and build confidence through regular use of the language. Every learner receives personalized support designed around their goals.
One of the most enjoyable aspects of teaching is seeing students become independent language users. I enjoy helping learners gain confidence and achieve meaningful progress. My aim is to make Spanish learning both effective and enjoyable.

My Spanish lessons are designed to help students communicate naturally and effectively. We focus on vocabulary development, sentence construction, grammar foundations, pronunciation practice, listening comprehension, and conversation skills through interactive learning activities. Every lesson encourages learners to actively use the language.
I incorporate roleplay exercises, cultural discussions, reading tasks, listening activities, and guided conversations to strengthen fluency and confidence. Students gradually become more comfortable expressing ideas while improving their accuracy and understanding. Lessons are engaging and tailored to individual progress.
Each learner receives support based on their goals and interests. Whether studying Spanish for travel, work, education, or personal enrichment, students receive practical guidance and clear explanations. My goal is to help learners become confident Spanish speakers who can communicate with ease.
