About Thomas
Hello! I'm a former Spanish and German student - I graduated earlier this year from Oxford with First Class Honours, and with a distinction in spoken Spanish.
I have teaching experience both in the classroom and in a 1-to-1 setting: I taught Spanish and German for two months at An-Najah University in Palestine, alongside teaching English in a refugee camp, and music at a local school. I also have around 30 hours of experience with private tuition, having tutored AS-Level Spanish and a range of GSCE subjects.
I can teach Spanish and German, as well as Religious Studies and English - literature studies being something I particularly enjoy: in my final exams I placed top of the year in the Spanish Renaissance Literature paper. I am also happy to help with anything university admissions related.
I'm around evenings and on the weekends, and am happy to travel or tutor online.
I am currently working in Oxford for Family Links, an Oxford based Emotional Health Charity. Next year I'll be starting a role teaching Modern Foreign Languages in a secondary school in the East Midlands, as part of the Teach First 2018 cohort.
In my free time I enjoy playing tennis, running, and singing - I've been in a number of choirs, an a cappella group that toured the USA, and Oxford's most famous (!) funk band!
