About McKenzie
I have been speaking Spanish for almost ten years. Although I am not a native speaker, I am considered fluent based on the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese as well as multiple other proficiency tests.

I teach using language exposure for general Spanish lessons. For lessons geared towards supplementing in-class learning, I can tailor lesson materials to aid in in-class understanding.
Typically lessons will be structured based on the needs of the student. The first session will be to understand the needs of the student and create a plan based off of the student's goals. Generally, we will spend the first 10 minutes doing Spanish greetings and speaking about the day in order for the student to become accustomed to speaking. After this we will spend the rest of the time working on the lesson plan for that session, and the final minutes of class will be spent in an overall review of what we worked on likely in the form of a short quiz.
For older students (After high school) I can structure a plan in order to aid in Spanish learning based on an introductory assessment which will determine the level of Spanish the student is at.
Lessons are for all ages, and I am open to working with all levels! It is never too late or too early to learn another language!
