About Ling
Hi, I’m Ling, a Chinese teacher with 5 years of experience teaching Mandarin to students from different backgrounds and levels. I am currently a PhD candidate in Spanish Literature and I speak Spanish fluently, which allows me to support Spanish-speaking learners with clear explanations and precise comparisons between Chinese and Spanish.
My academic background and teaching experience have helped me develop a professional, patient, and well-structured approach to language learning. I understand that studying Chinese can feel challenging at first, especially because of tones, characters, and sentence structure, so I guide my students step by step with clear goals and practical methods.
In my classes, students can expect a respectful, encouraging, and organized learning environment. I prepare lessons according to each student’s level, needs, and objectives, whether they are learning Chinese for school, university, work, travel, exams, or personal interest. Hi, I’m Ling, a Chinese teacher with 5 years of experience in Mandarin teaching. I’m currently a PhD candidate in Spanish Literature and I speak Spanish fluently, so I can teach Chinese in Spanish when needed. This makes my lessons especially helpful for Spanish-speaking students, because I can explain pronunciation, grammar, characters, and cultural differences in a clear and accessible way.
In my classes, I focus on helping students build real communication skills step by step. I like to create a relaxed but well-structured learning environment where students feel comfortable speaking, making mistakes, and improving naturally.
