About Lorena
I am a freelance Spanish tutor with 8 years experience. I have taught learners of various backgrounds, nationalities and ages both in the UK and in Spain. I provide tailored ONLINE Spanish classes and/or conversational practice sessions for any level of proficiency for ages 8+. To add to this, I have a background in face-to-face interpreting and written translations in both the English and Spanish language, so I do work with the language pairing very often and recognise the points in where conversion from one language to another is difficult and how to overcome these.

This is QUALITY ONLINE teaching. The classes are paced and planned with the learner's needs and intentions in mind (GCCSEs/A level Spanish homework help included). Most importantly, they are fun, economical, practical! I take into consideration the origins and lexemes of Spanish expressions and words to better convey understanding and neatly break sentences down. There are many fun activities and themes to challenge and test comprehension, as well as scripted or unscripted conversational practice and more! I teach using the Zoom platform, suitable for difficult times like these. Any other questions about my teaching methods and rates are welcome!
