About Shivam
I'm a student at the University of Manchester with Spanish as part of my degree. I have tutored over 40 students of varying ages and ability levels, for Spoken spanish as well as for written grammar. I have worked as a Teaching Assistant in GCSE Spanish classes taking students out of class for speaking practice sessions and providing in class support for students who needed it.

I give Spanish tuition to GCSE students and below, and am willing to help those wishing to learn spanish outside of academia. I am studying Spanish at degree level and have a GCSE and an A Level in Spanish (A* and A respectively), and so have a good level of familiarity with the language. I aim to build a strong foundation base of knowledge, be it grammar or vocabulary, and then encourage my students to bild on that more independently. I also encourage students to engage with music, podcasts or TV Shows in Spanish so they have something that actively pushes them to want to understand the language. I believe that if a student is confident in the basics of a subject and given a reason to enjoy it, they tend to engage with - and learn - the content with less difficulty.
