About Luke
I am a Spanish tutor with over 7 years of experience and a BA in Hispanic American Literature. My approach blends culture, language, and passion in one dynamic space. I specialize in using Latin American sports culture as a gateway to learning Spanish. From soccer stadiums to baseball fields, sports bring energy and excitement to every lesson. I design classes that explore sports commentary, helping learners understand the rhythm and vocabulary of live broadcasts. Fan chants and team cheers are also part of my lessons, offering a fun way to practice repetition, rhythm, and cultural expression. We also dive into athlete interviews, where students sharpen their listening comprehension and capture the nuances of spoken Spanish.
