About Dorothee
I hold a bachelor's degree in International Cultural and Business studies and am currently enrolled as a graduate student in a programme combining Geography and Political Sciences. I have lived, worked and attended school in different Latin American countries, experiencing both language and culture on a deep level connected to native speakers. I have a DELE C2 certificate and several years of experience in tutoring for students aged 11-16 in English, Spanish as well as Maths.

I want my students not just to get a good grade in an exam or when doing their homework but to gain confidence when learning and speaking a foreign language in order to be able to express themselves fluently and confidently on all levels.
I work with high school students who are looking for a Spanish tutor, using interactive and varying tasks that combine text work and auditory / spoken exercises. My approach is far from helping students to merely memorize but rather encouraging and assisting their learning processes and fostering their language competence on a deeper level.
I am good at interacting with different types of learners, especially young people, and promoting their skills with an empathetic and flexible approach.
