About Nabi
I am a designer and researcher working at the intersection of architecture, urban design, and territorial research, with extensive experience using GIS and design tools in academic and research contexts. I studied at an Ivy League university, where I developed a rigorous approach to spatial analysis, mapping, and critical design thinking. My work combines GIS, speculative cartography, and design-led research, and I have taught and applied GIS for design studios, theses, exhibitions, and publications. I help students transform complex spatial data into clear, thoughtful, and visually compelling maps, grounding technical workflows in design intent, spatial theory, and narrative clarity.

My lessons are designed for architecture and urbanism students who want to develop multi-scalar spatial thinking, rooted in an international approach to real design projects and research practice, rather than focusing only on technical skills or map-making. We work across sites, cities, regions, and territories, connecting spatial analysis, representation, and design thinking to questions of sustainability, climate resilience, and ecological urbanism. I also help students learn and integrate the necessary software including the Adobe suite, GIS, Rhino, and video editing tools always in service of clear ideas, design intent, and critical arguments, rather than software for its own sake. Drawing on international academic and professional experience, lessons are project-based and tailored to studios, theses, and research projects, supporting students in developing rigorous analysis, strong narratives, and confident visual communication.
