I have been working with students with all ability levels for over 20 years. I am Licensed in special education K-12 and elementary education K-6. I am passionate about student learning and get to know students individually so I can motivate and encourage growth.

I create interactive choral response lessons where students are engaged for the duration. I adjust my lessons to my students needs and levels of learning while ensuring to challenge students as well. I have been a special education teacher for 6 years and love teaching reading especially decoding and comprehension skills. Basic math skills and word problems are another strength of mine.
