I have been a Special Education teacher for a year and a half. I helped students with Math and ELA. I have a bachelor's of science from Austen Peay State Unversity. I have seen students go from reading at a sixth grade level to 8th grade.

I like being a hands-on teacher. I believe students learn more when they're having fun. They also tend to remember the lesson if they are active in the lesson. I also like to use the I do, we do, you do method. Where I show them how to do a problem, we try together, then they try on there own.
