About Jethro
I have a Distinction in the Trinity Piano Performance Diploma. This qualification is the result of hundred of hours of learning from highly commended and accomplished teachers, and applying it in rigorous, focused practice.
I have further experience giving solo performances and playing in numerous bands and small jazz groups.
Passing what I've learned on to my previous students has required charisma, responsive teaching, and patience - all talents which I've actively honed to help future students learn fluently and easily.

I have a Piano Diploma Distinction (along with grades in several other instruments) regularly jam and gig, and know music theory like the back of my hand. Every time I play I have all these skills in my mind, and I'm looking to share them.
Lesson structure depends entirely on what you want to improve on:
If you want to pass Grades, I can help you learn/ improve reading sheet music, work on your technique, and get you performance ready.
If you're out to learn practical skills for making new music and gigging, I'm equally well versed: I teach in a style which responds to you. I'll find your strengths and weaknesses and play to them. If you want to learn songs, chords and musical styles I can teach you what you need to get started in the musical world
I've had enough teachers - classical, jazz and internet - to be able to pass on my wealth of knowledge in any format you'd want. Give me a target and I'll get you there!
