About Lyla
I am currently pursuing an MA in International Relations at the University of Edinburgh, building on my strong academic foundation from the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, where I achieved a score of 42/45. My passion for teaching was evident early on when I founded an organisation in Hong Kong to teach English to underprivileged children, a commitment I upheld weekly for two years. I find great fulfilment in helping my students improve and succeed, and my teaching experience has equipped me with the skills to support diverse learners effectively. In my free time, I enjoy playing the bass guitar and reading philosophy!

Additionally, schoolteachers have noted significant enhancements in their students' academic performance under my tutelage.

Lyla has enabled my son to understand the IB English scoring criteria very well and guided him patiently on completing his extended essay which he had initially found daunting. Would recommend Lyla for anyone.
