About Ingrid
I’m an MA-qualified Speech Therapist with a strong interest in how people learn, communicate and develop. My clinical experience has included working with children and adults across language, literacy, neurodevelopment and rehabilitation.
I enjoy taking complex information and making it easier to understand and apply. I’m naturally practical and enjoy problem-solving, which is something I bring into my tutoring.
I’m passionate about supporting students to feel more confident in their understanding, particularly when course content feels overwhelming or difficult to connect to practice.
I tutor in English and Afrikaans and offer lessons online.

I bring my clinical experience as an MA-qualified Speech Therapist into my tutoring. I help students connect theory to real clinical examples and break down complex topics into something they can work with.
We can work through your actual course material, unpack difficult concepts, practise applying theory to cases, or work through areas where you feel stuck.
Sessions are focused on what will be most useful for you at that point in your course.
