About James
James Spencer of Spencer Artist Development is a noted acting, voiceover, musical theatre vocal and dialect coach and artist developer in the LA industry. He has taught privately and for university, community college and performing high schools for over 30 years. James is currently on faculty for University of West London: London College of Music (US Branch). James is also a noted concert pianist and recording artist, and an author of musicological materials, and acting monologues. James is also a playwright. Currently residing in Long Beach, he prepares talented actors and musical theatre vocalists for careers in the arts and stress the BUSINESS aspects of the arts and entrepreneurship. James holds Fellowship from University of West London, MM and BM degrees from CSUF, a Clinical Hypnotherapy diploma from HMI and AA from Orange Coast College.

Spencer Artist Development (Long Beach, CA). Dr. James Spencer is an LA industry based acting, musical theatre vocal, dialect and voice over coach offering private lessons globally (online) and at his actor's studio. James offer internationally accredited University of West London grade and advanced diploma programs in acting and musical theatre. Artist Development is available by audition to those seeking a career in the arts. Art Dev includes the business end: (headshots, monologue reels, audio demos, web portfolios, agent referrals, university entrance prep, audition prep, albums, building social media platforms and more). Lessons are available weekly in 45, 60 and 90 minute durations. James has over 30 years of private and university teaching experience. James teaches students of all levels age 9 and older. Many of James' students are filming tv/feature film and commercials as well as live theatre. James' hold Ph.D, MM, BM degrees.
