About Kuan
I’m a graduate of the School of Science and Technology, Singapore (SST) and I hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic. I’ve always enjoyed Mathematics and problem-solving, and I want to help students become more confident in the subject rather than feel intimidated by difficult questions. I’m patient, approachable and happy to explain a concept in different ways until it makes sense. I teach Mathematics from Primary School up to Secondary 4, and I aim to make lessons clear, practical and suited to each student’s pace.

I focus on helping students understand the logic behind each Math topic instead of memorising steps without knowing why they work. During lessons, I explain concepts clearly, work through examples step by step, then let the student attempt similar questions while I guide them through any mistakes. I also adjust the pace based on the student’s confidence and weaker topics. I graduated from the School of Science and Technology, Singapore and hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic, which gave me a strong foundation in Mathematics and problem-solving. My lessons are suitable for students from Primary School up to Secondary 4, including those preparing for their N- or O-Level Mathematics examinations.
