About Emery
My teaching room smells like old guitar strings and coffee. I am a USC music graduate who keeps things playful during our time together. Working with teens, working professionals, and absolute beginners is the highlight of my week.
I never take myself too seriously. Most of my work involves helping others find their footing on stage. I have 13 years of experience playing gigs in small venues. It is a pleasure to share what I know with you.

Singing often feels like a puzzle, but we solve it together. You might feel nervous about your range or your tone at first.
We look at vocal health, head voice, chest voice, and warm up exercises to clear those hurdles. I also help you with harmony singing and microphone technique to build your confidence.
You get performance recordings reviewed together each month to track your specific growth. My 13 years of experience means I have seen every vocal struggle possible. We make sure you feel comfortable, even when hitting the high notes.
I find that most people just need a little guidance to hear their true voice. Everything usually falls into place after a few sessions.
