About Taylor
I have been working in stage and production management for the live events and motion picture industry for six years. I have been involved with web series, short films, documentaries, musical theatre, theatre productions, dance, opera, and interdisciplinary work in roles such as stage management, production management, technician, director, writer, production coordinator, assistant stunt and fight director, and production assistant. As a younger (under 30), queer and disabled female-identified artist, I have come into contact repeatedly with industry professionals that move to overlook or take advantage of my work, time, and energy. I'm here to help you learn what your rights are as an emerging artist, and how to identify and address being taken advantage- the line is surprisingly hard to tell.

I base my lessons on my own experiences, on things I wish I had learned when in university or that my mentors had taught me. I believe that having an open conversation is an efficient way of learning, and not just playing videos filmed 15+ years prior about an industry that has evolved since then. I will propose complicated situations and case studies as a way to initiate conversation, and proceed to assist the learner in their assessment of the situations.
