About Charlotte
Hi! I’m Charlotte.
I’m a certified French teacher with over 7 years of experience and more than 4,500 hours of online teaching, mainly with adults and professionals from all over the world.
Passionate about languages and language learning, I have a background in Language Sciences and French as a Foreign Language at the Sorbonne. I speak French, English, and Portuguese fluently, as well as Spanish, Italian, and Vietnamese at different levels.
Over the years, I’ve taught online, in international schools, and in language centers. These experiences have taught me how to adapt to very different profiles, goals, and learning styles, while always keeping one essential priority in mind: making progress while enjoying the learning process.
Curious and deeply interested in human connection, I love meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds and creating an environment where students feel comfortable learning, asking questions, and making progress.

My lessons are based on a structured, progressive method that I have developed over several years of teaching adults.
Rather than learning grammar in isolation, we start with real-life situations, dialogues, texts, and conversations. Vocabulary and grammar are introduced in context, then put into practice through speaking and writing.
Each lesson generally combines comprehension, conversation, vocabulary, and grammar, with a strong focus on practice. The goal is not only to understand how French works, but above all to use it naturally in real-life situations.
The course follows a clear structure while remaining flexible according to your pace, difficulties, and goals. We can work on everyday French, pronunciation, professional French, or more specific needs. I also prepare students for the DELF, DALF, and FIDE exams.
Most importantly, my lessons are a space where you can speak, try, make mistakes, and try again. Little by little, you will become more comfortable, confident, and fluent in French — all in a relaxed and positive atmosphere!

I've been learning with Charlotte for almost a year and would 100% recommend her. She's very friendly and nice to speak to, as well as being a great teacher. The lessons are well planned and structured but not in a way that's boring. We use lots of different approaches for learning which makes the concepts easier to grasp.
