About Jenica
Hi! I'm Jenica, a Statistics and Data Science Graduate who believes that learning should be enjoyable, practical, and stress-free.
Growing up, I was always an active child who loved playing, exploring, and being curious about how things worked. I wasn't the type of student who spent every waking hour with a textbook, but I consistently performed well academically because I learned to study smart, stay disciplined, and truly understand concepts rather than simply memorizing them.
This experience shaped the way I teach today. I know that many students find subjects like Mathematics and Statistics challenging, not because they are difficult, but because they are often taught in a way that feels disconnected from real life. My goal is to change that. I break complex problems into smaller, easy-to-understand steps and help students see how each step contributes to solving the bigger problem.
I love making lessons interactive, engaging, and relatable by connecting concepts to everyday situations. Whether it's understanding percentages through shopping discounts, statistics through sports, or algebra through real-world problem solving, I strive to make learning meaningful and fun.
My classes are friendly, patient, and focused on building confidence. I encourage questions, celebrate progress, and create an environment where students feel comfortable learning at their own pace. Every class is designed not just to improve grades, but to help students develop problem-solving skills and a genuine understanding of the subject.

As a Statistics and Data Science student, I understand that every student learns differently. When I was a student, I found it much easier to grasp concepts when complex problems were broken down into smaller, manageable parts. This is the same approach I use while teaching.
My goal is not just to help students solve problems, but to help them understand why each step matters and how it contributes to the bigger solution. I make learning engaging and interactive by connecting concepts to real-life situations and practical applications, helping students see the value of what they are learning.
A typical class lasts 45 minutes, followed by 15 minutes dedicated to questions, discussion, and clearing doubts. I encourage students to ask questions freely and focus on building a strong foundation before moving on to advanced topics.
One of my strengths is keeping students engaged and maintaining their attention throughout the lesson. I strive to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident to participate and learn at their own pace.
My classes are suitable for school students studying Mathematics, Algebra, Arithmetic, and Statistics, as well as BSc Statistics students looking to strengthen their understanding of statistical concepts.
