About Krishnendu
I’m Krish Banerjee, a Kolkata-based singer-songwriter who’s turned music into my life’s full-time obsession. From busking on the streets to owning the stage, I’ve done it all—and trust me, I bring my own flair to everything I do. Musical Experience & Achievements: 6 years of busking: Spent six years taking over Kolkata’s streets with just my guitar and mic—if you haven’t seen me perform live, you're seriously missing out. Collaborated with over 1,000 musicians: Played with more musicians than I can count (but trust me, it’s a lot)—and every single performance has been a symphony of awesomeness. Singer-Songwriter: I've released several original songs and I’m constantly working on new material—my music is my story, and I’m here to share it with the world. Teaching experience: As a music teacher, I’ve mentored and inspired a huge number of students. What can I say? I teach, I inspire, and sometimes, I leave them laughing. Media Coverage: Featured in local newspapers and media (because apparently, I’m not just ‘popular,’ I’m also ‘professional’). Studies: Yep, I’m still hitting the books and learning opportunities—because there’s always room for more knowledge. A true artist never stops learning, right? Graduated in 2019 from Bengal Music College, University of Calcutta with a degree in Bengali music also has some important industry-wise musical and technical knowledge—because who says you can’t mix academia with passion? Music Portfolio & YouTube Channel: I run two YouTube channels—one for my music portfolio and the other for sharing all things weird and wonderful in an artistic way, because life’s too short not to share the weird stuff! Performances & Concerts: I’ve performed at countless stages, and every time I hit the stage, it feels like “This is MY moment.” From local gigs to international platforms, I’ve shown the world that great music transcends borders. I’m here to make an impact, not just perform. Working with Other Musicians: As part of the “Third Stage” band, I’ve had the chance to collaborate with incredible musicians and create magic together. Whether it’s writing songs, composing music, or creating lyrics—let’s just say I’m here to make some musical mischief!
