About Nolan
I am a 16-year-old in Boston with a love of math and science. As a current high schooler with a 4.4 weighted GPA and a 4.0 unweighted, I know the best strategies for learning, studying, and understanding information. Unlike many tutors, I am a current student and understand the evolving education system and the tools required to succeed. I care about helping fellow students do well and find what works best for them. On top of my advanced placement coursework I am a state champion in DECA, and am the captain of my school’s mock trial team that placed 3rd in the entire state. I have over 250 hours of volunteer work and I love helping others.

I am offering lessons for kids as young as elementary school to sophomores in high school. I aim to enforce learning from mistakes, taking the biggest challenges and turning them into positive experiences. As a high schooler, I know what works for some students and what doesn’t, aiming to increase comprehension, not just improve grades. I know that everyone works differently and part of my lessons is finding out what works for the learner. We go through practice problems, take interactive notes, and quiz ourselves.
