About Shannon
Hello! I’m a BC-certified teacher with experience teaching students from Kindergarten through Grade 12, including Grade 8 and 9 English and Social Studies. I’m passionate about helping students succeed, build confidence, and enjoy learning. My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, engaging, and fully aligned with the BC curriculum. I also have experience supporting Indigenous students and collaborating to bring inclusive, culturally aware perspectives into the classroom.

Qualifications & Methodology: I am a BC-certified teacher with a Bachelor of Education (elementary specialization) and a Master’s in Education (Place- and Nature-Based Education). I have taught Grades 5–9 and worked as an Indigenous Student Support Teacher. My teaching is student-centered, interactive, and tailored to each learner’s needs.
