About Maia
I want to teach to help inspire confidence in people’s writing abilities.
I believe that understanding and enjoying literature is the key to success and to being able to express yourself wholeheartedly. Being and becoming good at English is a journey you will constantly be on; expanding your knowledge, vocabulary and self.
Being able to communicate your thoughts and ideas clearly with passion is the key to a successful future, and I want to help others achieve that.

My lessons are for a range of ages and abilities!
I usually teach in a casual learning environment and tailor every lesson for each student to maximise their growth and learning within the subject.
Whether it’s grammatical issues or struggling to understand texts, I will help you grapple with the ideas and the issues that you may struggle with.
Lessons are typically 40-60 minutes but flexibility is available.
I have currently completed my English literature and English language GCSE.
