About Sujana
I am a Computer Science student at the University of Manitoba, where I have maintained a place on the Dean's Honors List and received the International Undergraduate Scholarship for exceptional academic achievement.
Beyond my studies, I have co-authored two peer-reviewed publications in software engineering. I have over two years of hands-on experience teaching and tutoring students across K–12 and university levels in Mathematics and Computer Science, both in-person and online. I currently work as a Math and CS tutor at TutorBright and serve as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Manitoba, where I support first-year students weekly.
I bring the same rigor and dedication I apply to my own academics into every tutoring session. I prepare thoroughly for each lesson, keep detailed notes on every student, and adapt my teaching style to suit each individual learner. My goal is simple, to make sure every student I work with not only understands the material, but genuinely feels confident in it.

My tutoring starts well before the session even begins. I'm a firm believer in thorough preparation — before every session I reflect on what worked and what needs improvement from our previous meeting, referencing the detailed notes I keep for every student after every session. No two students are the same, and my notes ensure I never lose track of where you are in your learning journey.
For Math sessions, I prepare and send all materials to the student ahead of time so they can come prepared. I also put together personalized notes for each student beforehand so they have something clear and structured to reference when doing their homework or reviewing independently.
During the session itself, I introduce each topic in the simplest, most digestible way possible before moving straight into practice problems — because understanding something in theory and actually being able to do it are two very different things. After completing a chapter or unit, I test students on the material and go over every mistake carefully, turning errors into genuine learning moments rather than letting them slide.
