About Manon
I'm a student in the full-English bachelor Animal Sciences at Wageningen University, although I live in Ede myself. Other than this I spent a year in an exclusively English environment in South-Africa, where I worked for an internship position.
At the age of 10 I began teaching myself English trough books, movies and pop songs. By the time I started getting English classes in high school, I was already nearly fluent. After this I had 6 more years of English courses.

My teaching method is rather playful and focusses on actively using and practicing the material rather than following rules, books and lists, since this is how I learned most of the language myself. Reading books, holding conversations and even extra homework like watching a movie or the news are all options depending on what the student feels comfortable with. In the end, I try to link the material to a pre-existing interest, to keep the learning fun!
