About Evelyn
I have been tutoring on various sites since 2018, teaching students of varying age-range and abilities. Whilst my Master's course is in History, I am adept at tutoring subjects such as English, which in the subject in which I have the most experience. As History as a discipline covers a variety of the Humanities subjects, such as Religious Studies, Politics and other areas, it is a film basis for tutoring a variety of subjects. Regarding my teaching style, I like to learn what my student responds best to, whether that be creating revision guides or reading through a text together. I find that this not only maximises what the student takes from the lesson, but it also helps them learn what works for them, so they can apply it outside of lesson time and to their other subjects. The aim of tutoring should not only be to educate a student on one subject, but to give them the tools to help them with others.
