About Leena
I am 20 years old and I have just completed my first year studying English Literature with Film Studies.
In my spare time, I have been providing A Level students with exam tips and essay structure guidance and they end up with higher grades than they expected. It made me realise that I want to teach purely because I like helping others succeed to the potential that they didn't know that they had. In particular, I helped one student go from a C to an A in 2 months.
I would say that I choose an unconventional style in comparison to what you're used to at school because I understand that not everyone learns the same way, but everyone deserves to learn.

About the lesson

My approach: my first lesson would begin with a general enquiry with the student to see what their strengths and weaknesses are.
The following lessons would focus on essay planning, textual analysis, exam technique and structural feedback.
I have experience with the Edexcel exam board, having done it myself at A Level and will use this to provide a deeper insight into what the exam board looks for in an essay.
