About Srivishnu
Hi there! My name is Srivishnu Pyda, and I’m a junior at the University of Maryland, College Park. I’m majoring in computer science, so I have a strong interest and foundation in both computer science and math. I am proficient in languages such as Java, C, and Objective Caml, and have completed advanced coursework like linear algebra and discrete mathematics. In addition to my coursework, I have also gained practical experience through internships and research positions. I have worked as a software engineer intern and as a machine learning researcher, where I have applied my skills and knowledge to real-world problems.
I have a year of experience tutoring middle school students in math and fundamental computer science concepts. I worked one on one with these students and learned how to adapt my teaching style to the students’ style of learning either by finding new ways to explain a concept or adjusting the pace of the lesson.

In my tutoring methods, I prioritize clear and effective communication, as well as a focus on building a strong foundation in concepts before diving into more advanced material. I believe that this approach helps students understand the material more deeply and build confidence in their abilities.
