About Caitlin
I am an 19 year old student that achieved A*’s in my GCSE’s and A’s at A level in history, English and media studies! As someone who recently sat the exams and is familiar with the subject and all the knowledge and application needed to get the grade you want, I can offer you the most beneficial perspective on the subject and resources from someone who has been there! I love teaching and I understand how difficult it can be to work with a tutor when there is a large age gap, and my main priority is making students feel comfortable so that they can reach their fullest potential. I have had experience in tutoring GCSE students, all of whom went on to get B grades and above in their exams — and I know you can too :)

Each student is different so it is really important to me to work with the student to decide on a work plan that outlines the areas they’re struggling in and a pace that works for them individually so that they can progress comfortably. I believe that retention is the most important (and sometimes difficult for new GCSE students!) part of learning and am experienced enough to develop techniques with my students that not only allow them to understand the topics but help them to remember them too, reducing the revision bulk!
