About Michael
I am two years into my Japanese language journey. While I'm not a native speaker, I attend language exchange groups two to three times a month, have somewhat close Japanese friends who don't know English, and enjoy reading light novels and manga. I'm currently about a year away from becoming an ALT (Assistant Language Teacher) and three years away from getting my masters in teaching English as a foreign language.

If you're at an N4 level or below, chances are that you haven't encountered native Japanese study materials yet. The typical textbooks offered in English often neglect to explain these things before the student has spent six months or more memorizing lists of phrases.

-How to break down the "conjugation" system of Japanese. (did you know there's actually only two and a half forms of any verb or adjective?)
