About Gaia
I am a Ph.D. student in chemistry and have been tutoring since I was 17. I have extensive experience with teaching chemistry as a duty in my university, and as a work experience with the Royal Society of Chemistry, for which I have travelled around Scotland delivering workshops in schools.
I like helping the students through exercises and breaking down more complex concepts, so to ensure they are not disappointed when those exam results come in.

I base my classes on the student's textbook, and try to expand from there. I source a lot of my material from university websites, and walk students through exercises step by step. As I myself am a visual learner, I always find interesting diagrams or videos to help the student better understand the particular concepts of chemistry.
I always try to set a friendly and relaxed environment for the student to feel comfortable in, which is key for effective studying.
