About John
My name is John Weber. I have been playing guitar since I was 13 years old. Besides guitar I also play bass guitar and piano. I incorporate my knowledge of music theory and music production into my lessons. Music lessons have always been a theme in my life, as I took lessons myself for many years and both of my parents give music lessons. At the moment I am studying product design in Karlsruhe. In my free time, I am busy with my own song recordings and on the side, I am producing the soundtrack for a movie of my fellow student. These lessons are aimed specifically at beginners of guitar playing. Whether acoustic or electric guitar, or both. We will cater to their individual interests.
My approach is to combine the principles of music theory with intuitive song playing. We will practice your favorite pieces and, if you wish, take a closer look at them theoretically. But we will also learn to play music together far away from notes and scales.
A prerequisite is that you own your own guitar. This is necessary so that you can continue practicing at home.
I am looking forward to our first trial lesson.
