I studied at Buckinghamshire New University, class of 2017, and I was awarded with a 1:1 degree in the BSc Paediatric Nursing. I teach English - Oral, reading and writing. Levels 1-5.

About Priscilla
I am friendly, patient, organised, kind, thorough, comprehensive, and honest. I am passionate about helping people; I think that learning a new language is extremely empowering as it enables people to communicate to the specified people group. I myself, have signed up to learn Swahili with a tutor on this website as a means to learn my native tongue as mother is no longer alive to teach me. I then thought to myself, I would love to teach English to others; as throughout my life I have been told that I am gifted in the area of writing and teaching; and I love the idea of being an instrument in enabling individuals to be equipped, empowered and to expand their use of the English language.

My approach would be to first find out how much you know and what you are able to do, then from that create a personalised teaching plan. I would give you a mini task to complete to assess your writing skills prior to our first lesson, particularly focusing on your sentence structures, grammar and punctuation and then I would build on from there. However, if you just want to focus on oral and not reading and writing, that is also okay. However, I would advise that you get the full learning experience that I recommend and offer to enhance your English skills holistically. My lessons would be an hour. I can only do weekday evenings, however I can consider Saturdays but this will be charged at a higher rate. I have 1:1 Bachelor of Science degree. I have current teaching experience in other areas such as production technology, however this would be my first time being an English tutor. You are in safe hands, and you will have fun, learn, develop and be challenged in my lessons.
