About Ella
Hello! My name is Ella and I am 19 years old from Sussex in England. I went to boarding school to study English literature, modern history and drama.
I have a place to study comparative literature in a top London university in September 2022. However am taking a gap year to peruse my dream of acting and writing plays. I am doing a foundation course at a drama school this year.
I absolutely love reading and studying literature and helping others understand and speak this wonderful language.
I also am a very keen singer and sing soprano in musical theatre.
I love to bake and decorate cakes in my free time.

My lessons are fun and engaging but also suited and adapted to the personal abilities of my students. I will help you work through anything you may find difficult, for as long as that may take.
My lessons typically run between 40 minutes to an hour. Or longer if the student wishes.
I will make personal PowerPoints to suit the needs of the student and be sure to make them fun and engaging. Also encourage them to actively read outside of lesson time. If it is English speaking I find that listening is really helpful especially through film and radio, but also conversation between myself and the student about our family, where we are from, how our day was ect...
My lessons are for ages 6 upwards depending what they require help with. I am able to help with speaking and reading for all ages.
I have tutored my Brother in English since he was aged 5 with reading, spelling, creative writing and speaking. He is now 11 and am continuing to help him. I have also tutored my cousin with GCSE level English literature and language. Focusing on Shakespeare and other novels and plays.
