About William
I come from a background in teaching music at high school & college. I still gig regularly and also teach 1-1 at my home studio in Yorkshire. I love Brazilian jazz in particular, and also have a great fondness for composition, I feel the two go hand in hand. My students describe me as being a very calm, patient and a positive tutor!

Jazz Improvisation is my specialist subject, I have a relaxed approach & enjoy working with all levels and abilities. Happy to give lessons from 20 mins, 45 mins or an hour. I would recommend either 45 mins or an hour to get the most from the sessions.
