About Kayinat
I studied Political Science at Saint Louis University with extensive coursework in Philosophy, Art, and Law. I have previously taught Islamic studies to young children and have always invited open discussion. As a tutor, I strongly believe that learning is a two-way street! As much as you learn from me, I can learn from you, aiming to grow and better ourselves in every step of our academic journeys. I believe in open communication and understanding; with those elements, all students can succeed in their endeavors.

As a student of mine, our goals together will be to:
- learn through discussion and application, rather than reciting facts from text materials. This will ensure proper comprehension is happening.
- Creative Assignments: all writing assignments will be through a creative lens to encourage one's own way of thinking
- Real-life scenario applications: Learning Philosophy, religion, and Politics can become uncomfortable at some points. I welcome all perspectives and allow students to look to and draw from real-life experiences to ensure all learning is still practical and beyond theory.
- I teach all levels of students, whether that be someone who is simply interested in the topics, high school students taking electives, or undergraduate students who want a better understanding of coursework.
