About Alex
I have been working as a Studio Art teacher at my local high school for over 2 years. I have worked with several types of students, both experienced and not, in helping them develop their skills and love of Art. Art is all around us. It is in the clothes we pick out, on the advertisements we see on billboards, in nature, and so much more. It is a skill that I have used when creating social media marketing, personalized poster art, and interior design. I am looking forward to starting this journey with you and helping you discover your skills and love of art.

This course is designed for beginning art students who are interested in learning the basic techniques to get better at drawing. In my lessons, I will also teach you about the 7 Elements of Art: Line, Shape, Texture, Form, Space, Color, and Value. We will draw together and apply these techniques into our drawings. The only materials you will need to get started are a set of graphite pencils, drawing paper, ruler, eraser, and kneaded eraser (optional). I can't wait to work with you!
